ISO 27001 Certified
HITS holds the ISO 27001:2017 Quality Standard. This accreditation assures all customers that their invaluable data and information is held securely in a controlled environment and is handled with strict adherence to the principles of Information Security, Data Protection and general confidentiality. ISO 9001 Certified
HITS holds the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard. This accreditation assures all customers that all work-processes, from initial contact to completion, are governed by rigorously maintained and monitored procedures and accord with all applicable standards. In summary: a guarantee of a wholly professional approach. (Expiry Date: November 2024)
Chartered Institute of Linguists
HITS has been a registered training and examination centre on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Linguists since 2001. Since 2002, HITS has received 10 national awards from the Chartered Institute for the success of its students (including UK Examination Centre of the Year twice and leading UK student in the Health or Local Government examination options on eight occasions).
Cyber Essentials
As part of the registered charity Community Action Dacorum, HITS has also passed the Cyber Essentials assessment. This offers all customers and clients a further assurance regarding our commitment to the integrity and security of our data networks and processes. Certification renewed 05 04 23.

HITS is certified Disability Confident Committed. This means we ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible; we communicate and promote vacancies as widely as possible; offer interviews to disabled people whop meet the minimum criteria for the job; anticipate and provide reasonable adjustments as required; support any existing employee who acquires a disability or long-term health condition, enabling them to stay in work; commit to activities that will make a difference for disabled people.

As part of Community Action Dacorum, HITS is Matrix accredited. The Matrix Standard is owned by the Department for Education (DfE) and ensures the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) services that enable people to reach their full potential. The Standard is delivered by the Growth Company. The standard covers HITS education, skills, employability, and careers advice.
